My name is Larry Cooney Jr. I am is a illustrator / designer from the United States who was born, raised and live in New Jersey. I taught myself how to incorrectly hold a pencil in order to start drawing. I have not stopped since and I still hold it the wrong way. In 1996, I graduated with a BFA in Illustration from Parsons School of Design in NYC. I have tackled many different styles and approaches over the years, both traditional and digital. Working in all types of environments, including the largest of corporate businesses, I am able to adapt to any situation. I have currently refocused on doing illustration. Since doing so, I have had my illustrations featured by Adobe in their "Made with Illustrator Draw" gallery and I was also one of the artist's spotlighted in Adobe's "Behance Year in Review 2017."

My full illustration portfolio can be viewed here. It contains over 50 illustrations. Since some people have asked, the section illustrations for the homepage of this website were drawn by myself as well.

Due to the various NDA's and contracts I have signed over the years, I am very limited to the corporate work I can display publicly. I would be happy to share those examples in person. I also experienced a catastrophic multiple hard drives failure in 2010 that unfortunately meant I lost 95% of the work I had done prior. It did reinforce the importance of backups however. Ever since my backups have backups both on and off site.
